Gary S. Kerwood

COUNSEL

Gary S. Kerwood concentrates in the areas of real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing and finance. His practice also includes working with owners' associations and planned communities, commercial leasing and business transactions.

Mr. Kerwood practiced in Oregon for 16 years before relocating to Hawaii in 2002. His experiences in Oregon included, among others: (i) Assistant General Counsel, The Port of Portland (areas of responsibility included transactional real estate, ground and retail leases for the Portland International Airport and for three general aviation airports), (ii) Attorney and Assistant Secretary, Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (areas of responsibility included providing general legal advice to worldwide timber products company regarding real estate sales, leases, and other agreements; trademark and other intellectual property matters; and business acquisition agreements such as asset purchase, license, and security agreements), (iii) Attorney at Miller, Nash, Wiener, Hager & Carlsen (areas of responsibility included general real estate, business, and estate planning) and (iv) Hearings Clerk to the Honorable Seymour J. Wenner, Bonneville Power Administration (1983 Wholesale Power and Transmission Rate Case).

Mr. Kerwood enjoys family, golfing, hiking, skiing and fly fishing.
